Cat 1 · 30 days
appointment within 30 calendar days. - High lymphocyte count associated with any cytopenia’s (including autoimmune haemolytic anaemia – AIHA) - High lymphocytes count with - Weight loss >10% - Night sweats - Bulky (> 5cm) lymphadenopathy
Cat 2 · 90 days
appointment within 90 calendar days. - Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia - Aberrant T cell lymphocytosis including T-LGL (T-cell large granular lymphocyte leukaemia)
Cat 3 · 365 days
appointment within 365 calendar days. - Monoclonal B lymphocytosis (MBL)
Referral will be returned without this. If a mandatory test cannot be obtained, say so in the referral.

Not all services are appropriate to be seen in the Queensland public health system. Exceptions can always be made where clinically indicated. It is proposed that the following are not routinely provided in a public Haematology service The following are not routinely provided in a public Haematology service. - Elevated ferritin with normal/low transferrin saturation unless specific concerns - Simple folate, B12 deficiency - Isolated lymphopenia without evidence of lymphoproliferative disorder - Mild stable isolated cytopenia (Neutrophils >1.5, platelets >100, Hb>100) with unremarkable blood film - Isolated raised ESR, CRP or microglobulin without evidence of lymphoproliferative disorder or myeloma - Isolated red cell macrocytosis without cytopenia’s and otherwise unremarkable blood film - Iron deficiency with Hb >100
