Cat 2 · 90 days
appointment within 90 calendar days. - Mild symptoms or Positive serological results without symptoms
Cat 3 · 365 days
appointment within 365 calendar days. - No category 3 criteria
Referral will be returned without this. If a mandatory test cannot be obtained, say so in the referral.
- History of illness - Results of serological or other pertinent investigations - Management to date - Medication (including antibiotics) and allergy history - Other medical history especially history of immunosuppression or presence of indwelling prosthetic material
The following conditions are out of scope for this service: - Immunological conditions - Sexually acquired Infection including HIV - Hepatitis B and C - Australian Bat Lyssavirus exposure management - Lyme Disease in absence of a positive Western blot from an accredited laboratory and presence of correct epidemiological risk (i.e. must have travelled overseas) - Long COVID syndrome - COVID vaccination concerns - Acute COVID management
