Essential referral information
Referral will be returned without this. If a mandatory test cannot be obtained, say so in the referral.
- Results of relevant investigations including stool specimens, serology results, FBC - Travel history, occupational history, and history of any zoonotic exposures - Any current or planned immunosuppressive therapies
Out of scope / wrong door
The following conditions are out of scope for this service: - Immunological conditions - Sexually acquired Infection including HIV - Hepatitis B and C - Australian Bat Lyssavirus exposure management - Lyme Disease in absence of a positive Western blot from an accredited laboratory and presence of correct epidemiological risk (i.e. must have travelled overseas) - Long COVID syndrome - COVID vaccination concerns - Acute COVID management
