Cat 1 · 30 days
appointment within 30 calendar days. - Suspicious of malignancy based on intermediate to high risk as determined by validated scoring system e.g. ORADS or IOTA. - If ORADS/IOTA unavailable, refer if risk of malignancy index (RMI) score >200
Cat 2 · 90 days
appointment within 90 calendar days. - No category 2 criteria
Cat 3 · 365 days
appointment within 365 calendar days. - No category 3 criteria
Referral will be returned without this. If a mandatory test cannot be obtained, say so in the referral.
- Findings of speculum examination - Most recent or current cervical screening - Pelvic USS (TVS preferable) - ORADS or IOTA score (RMI score if ORADS/IOTA unavailable) If a specific test result cannot be obtained due to access, financial, religious, cultural or consent reasons a clinical override may be requested. This reason must be clearly articulated in the body of the referral.
The following conditions are out of scope for this service: - Gynaecological conditions that do not have a confirmed/suspected malignancy
