Out of scope / wrong door
Individuals who have sustained a concussion, but their injury was: - (1) greater than 12 months ago; - (2) have a history of moderate to severe Acquired Brain Injury (ABI); or - (3) demonstrate acute changes on brain injury (i.e., a complicated mild Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)) - These referrals would be diverted to the Gold Coast University Hospital Specialised ABI Outpatient Service. - Referrals for which there are factors that will significantly impact participation with this service. Including but not limited to, significant and unmanaged chronic health conditions or substance abuse. - Active compensation claim related to the injury.
