Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan (MBS EDP)

Eligibility (published)
DSM-5 diagnostic criteria. Allied health cannot determine eligibility. Maximum 40 psychological sessions per rolling/calendar year. Dietitians up to 20 sessions ≥20 minutes with GP referral if criteria not met for EDP (Better Access/EPC alternative described).

- GP diagnosis (items 90250–90253) or psychiatrist/paediatrician. SCOFF then EDE-Q. GCPHN templates: GP InsideOut EDP (generic/BP/MD); GP Care Plan Review. Early psychiatrist/paediatrician referral for sessions 21–40.
